'Made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 16 months in 60% new French oak, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Benchland Series has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and bold crème de cassis, baked blueberries and plum preserves scents with suggestions of cigar box, cloves and fragrant earth plus a waft of bay leaves. Full body, tightly wound tannins and a medium-long finish. 'Dark plums, blackcurrants, cassis, blackberries and lots of bark, toasty oak and baking spices.
