It was very tasty and the waitress was very friendly!!!!! After, we headed back to the casino for some more fun trying our luck for a few more hours! The following day was basically the same and since there was an 8-10 inch snowstorm happening, we were content staying put in the resort. A kinda 'Johnny Rocket' eatery with burgers, sandwiches and shakes. Kept it simple and went to Legend's Diner. My wife likes the penny, nickel, quarter slots and I like 3 Card Poker! We got our 'feet wet' for an hour before we decided to get a bite to eat. It was surprisingly big!!!! Lotsa of slots and table games. We got settled for our 2 night stay and then proceeded down to the casino to get a 'lay of the land'.
Just a 2 hour drive north of our home, Soaring Eagle Resort and Casino was the perfect option! We arrived and valet parked (complimentary) and we were greeted with friendly smiles at the check in desk where we were told our room overlooking the courtyard was ready for us! The room was just what we needed for our first time there on the 4th floor overlooking the small lake and fire pit area. After 8 weeks of therapy from July back surgery, I wanted to give my wife a little getaway graduation present.
